idverde NL nominated for Stichting Steenbreek Trophy 2024

idverde NL, part of Europe’s leading green projects and sustainable maintenance provider idverde group has been nominated for the Steenbreek Trophy 2024.

Stichting Steenbreek is a national organisation which provides support for sustainable greening, aiming to ensure the living environment in the Netherlands is as beneficial as possible. They recognise a leading project every year via their prestigious Steenbreek Trophy and for 2024, idverde’s Buurtwens project in Goes has been nominated.

This is a community project, bringing together a play and meeting space to benefit multi-generations in an urban environment. The project includes a football field with grandstand, picnic areas, a 30-metre cable car and play areas with beaches, water parks and willow tunnels.  147 trees were planted as part of the project, alongside flower meadows and hedgerows to encourage plant and wildlife.
