idverde Wins Two National Landscape Awards at the 2024 BALI Awards
Coventry, 3 September 2024 — idverde has been recognised with two National Landscape Awards at the 2024 BALI National Landscape Awards, receiving honours for its work at Manchester City Football Club and Manor Gardens in Bexhill.
The awards recognise excellence in landscape creation and grounds maintenance across the UK, celebrating projects that demonstrate outstanding quality, innovation, and environmental best practice.
Excellence in public grounds maintenance.
idverde received its first award in the Grounds Maintenance – Free Public Access category for its work at Manor Gardens in Bexhill.
The award recognises the team’s specialist horticultural expertise and long-standing commitment to maintaining the park to an exceptional standard. Supported by a full-time, on-site gardener and a skilled contract team, idverde carefully manages the park’s diverse landscape, including its walled garden, rose garden, and seasonal displays.
By adopting a performance-led maintenance approach tailored to seasonal and environmental conditions, the team consistently delivers high-quality results while preserving the park’s character and enhancing the visitor experience. This commitment to excellence has also been recognised through achievements such as the Silver Gilt Award in South and South-East in Bloom.
Innovative and sustainable landscape management.
idverde also secured a National Landscape Award in the Private Grounds Maintenance category for its work at Manchester City Football Club.
The project demonstrates how innovative grounds maintenance can support broader sustainability ambitions. By moving beyond traditional maintenance practices, the team introduced a more biodiverse, pollinator-friendly, and environmentally conscious approach to managing the club’s green spaces.
Initiatives including a comprehensive soil replacement and recycling programme, alongside the creation of the Blue Moon Meadow, have improved plant health while supporting biodiversity and contributing to the club’s long-term sustainability objectives.

Following extensive site visits and detailed judging, the 2024 BALI National Landscape Awards recognised 79 National Award-winning projects delivered by 56 members across 24 categories.
The winning projects showcase exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise, and innovation while highlighting the industry’s commitment to environmental sustainability and best practice in landscape management.
The National Landscape Awards ceremony will take place on 6 December 2024 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, hosted by award-winning comedian Aurie Styla.
