We are committed to managing our sustainability impact responsibly and to building a business that supports better nature and better lives, together.
Our 10,000 people are at the heart of our business.
Their safety, expertise, and local knowledge directly determine the quality of the green environmental services we deliver to our customers across regions and countries, all over Europe. We are committed to protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of workers, communities, and the environment through a positive safety culture and robust safety management systems. We are building a workplace where everyone is valued and experiences fair, inclusive, and ethical employment through dignity, equality, and opportunity. We are also developing local partnerships, engaging community organisations, and supporting the social and economic priorities of the places where people live, meet, and recharge.
In Denmark, idverde turns safety learning into action. Weekly videos share lessons from incidents and near-misses, while 2025 trend analysis led to a targeted campaign on finger injury prevention, supported by cut-resistant gloves.
In the UK, idverde works with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds to improve biodiversity across parks, reserves, and housing developments. In 2025, this included the discovery of more than 1,300 orchids at Hangrove and 76 bee species at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
In the Netherlands, idverde supports access to work through the Social Enterprise Performance Ladder. In 2025, 23 people previously distant from the labour market joined the company.
With Groundwork, idverde provided training and career support to 12 unemployed London residents. Eleven completed a horticulture qualification and two secured permanent roles.

We use nature-based solutions within our own operations and throughout our value chain to create healthier, more resilient surroundings.
We have three commitments: managing our carbon footprint, improving waste and resource management, and increasing the focus of our services on biodiversity enhancement and healthier ecosystems.
In Denmark, more than 80% of small tools and around 65% of company cars are already electric. In France, electric machinery represented 34% of new equipment investment in 2025, up from 19% in 2024.
In the Netherlands, we use DutchTrig to prevent Dutch elm disease by activating trees’ natural defence mechanisms, without chemicals. In 2025, more than 21,000 trees were treated.
In south-western France, we manage around 350 kilometres of railway line to control the spread of Pampas grass. The programme combines mechanical removal, seasonal control, and re-seeding to reduce safety risks and protect biodiversity.
In the Netherlands, a new waste management platform introduced in 2025 helps track waste performance by category. Between January and August 2025, 98% of waste was diverted from disposal and 93% was recycled.
In the Netherlands, idverde transplanted a 100-year-old, 81.5-tonne oak tree in Hollandscheveld, preserving valuable ecosystem benefits after construction made its original location unsuitable.

Strong governance and our commitment to business ethics help us deliver green environmental services with trust, integrity, and consistency throughout our business. We have three commitments: raising awareness on climate change and biodiversity, delivering sustainability solutions through knowledge transfer between teams, and promoting innovation to serve the environment.
In Denmark, idverde supports Kloden på Kanten, an educational hub helping young people engage with climate change and biodiversity through hands-on learning, research, and local action.
In France, idverde helped Center Parcs define ecological maintenance for three woodland resorts, turning survey findings into practical guidance for day-to-day management.
In the Netherlands, idverde received the Nederland Distributieland prize for sustainable landscape management, recognising a Port of Rotterdam collaboration with zero direct CO₂ emissions, circular green waste management, and biodiversity gains.
At Wormwood Scrubs, idverde uses Shire horses for low-impact meadow management. In 2025, the site became a Local Nature Reserve and received a BALI National Landscape Award.

idverde’s sustainability disclosures are progressively aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
The 2025 report includes GHG Scope 1 and 2 data with external limited assurance, Double Materiality Assessment findings, and year-on-year comparisons on key metrics.
