Malmos Landskaber awarded major climate landscape project in Copenhagen
idverde Denmark's subsidiary Malmos Landskaber has been awarded the contract to deliver a major landscape and construction project in one of Copenhagen's largest residential areas, Remisevængerne and Hørgården 1 & 2 on Amager.
The project will focus on climate adaptation, water management, and green infrastructure while creating more attractive and functional outdoor spaces for local residents.
Delivering climate-resilient neighbourhoods.
Commissioned by Boligforeningen 3B and KAB (Københavns Almindelige Boligselskab), the project will be delivered over the next four to five years with a budget of more than DKK 350 million.
The works will include:
- Sewage separation
- Sustainable drainage systems
- Green infrastructure
- Biodiversity improvements
- Recreational landscape enhancements
The aim is to improve both the environmental performance of the neighbourhood and the everyday experience of the people who live there.
